1. Iphrase your question as a yes/no OR a directional one. ('Is this job offer aligned with my path?' 'What is the next right step in [situation]?')
2. IIwrite your question on the first bay leaf.
3. IIIon the second bay leaf, write 'show me.'
4. IVon the third bay leaf, write 'thank you.'
5. Vlight the first bay leaf in the fire-safe dish. Speak your question aloud as it burns. Watch the smoke.
6. VIlight the second. Watch where the smoke goes.
7. VIIlight the third. Bow your head.
8. VIIIfill the glass with water. Look at your reflection in the surface. The answer arrives in the next 1-3 days — through a dream, a sign, a conversation. Pay attention.
