Major Arcana · III
The Empress
what you're growing knows your hands.
upright — what she sees
what you're growing knows your hands. drawn upright, the empress speaks of abundance, fertility, sensuality. she reads it as a turning toward the thing, not away from it — tending made plain.
reversed — what she withholds
you've poured into everyone but your own garden. reversed, the card turns inward — smothering, depleted, neglected. not a curse. a closed door you keep your own hand on.
in a spread
in the daily veil, the empress is the day's temperature — upright it asks you to lean in, reversed it asks what you're bracing against. in a three-card line it colours past, present, or the thing approaching. draw it yourself and she'll read it for you, in your own words.
